At Centurion Home & Business Security, we are committed to protecting your privacy by keeping personal information secure from unauthorised access, use or loss. Our company takes all reasonable steps in order to comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Commonwealth) and will apply the National Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000. and to protect the privacy of the personal information that we hold.

What happens to the information?
Security records are stored in a safe manner with restricted access.

Some information is also stored on computer systems. Computer stored information allows all staff involved in providing our services, access to information easily and quickly when needed.

Centurion Home & Business Security maintains policies with respect to access to your personal information including strict control and confidentiality over access to databases and our computer system.

Who do we disclose your personal information to?

Privacy Complaints
Please direct all privacy complaints to our Privacy Officer. To assist Centurion Home & Business Security, if you have any questions, feedback or complaints in relation to Centurion Home & Business Security management of personal information, please contact us. At all times privacy complaints will be:

  • dealt in a strictly confidential manner

All complaints will be acknowledged within seven (7) working days and a detailed reply given within twenty-eight (28) days. Where it is not possible to complete the investigation of a complaint within twenty-eight (28) days; then, the complainant will be advised after the twenty-eight days has elapsed with an estimated time frame when the investigation will be completed. Furthermore, you will be informed of the outcome of the complaint following the completed investigation of the complaint.

You may refer the complaint to the federal office of the Privacy Commissioner, if you are not satisfied with the outcome of your complaint.
